Our executive search process is characterised by its transparent and structured approach. Our knowledge about the developments within your organisation and business sector is a key factor in the search process. YESS quickly identifies the ideal candidate. This is because of our professional commitment and emphasis on personal skills.
YESS is active in many dynamic markets and fields. Our consultants each have had years of experience working in management and consultancy positions. They therefore have an extensive network at their disposal and understand the challenges and expectations you face within your organisation.
YESS primarily works for midsized companies, such as scale ups, private equity- owned companies, family businesses, mid-caps and partnership organisations. Our consultants understand the distinct importance of human capital in senior management or key positions to realise change. Our scope covers all functional areas, such as finance, commercial, HR and digital, within a wide range of industries (profit and not for profit).
YESS helps leading organisations identify entrepreneurial, highly educated and ambitious candidates. Should you be looking for a challenging position in which you can develop your professional and personal skills, you can upload your resume including your motivation here or search the job openings.
Identification of the best candidates
The strategy of YESS consultants is based on their knowledge of a particular industry or role, as well as their years of experience in executive search. Our executive search associates work closely together with the consultants, following and mapping the career moves of ambitious professionals and potential senior managers within a wide variety of industries and functions.
Evaluating the “how”
During meetings with potential candidates, our consultants do not merely focus on what a candidate has achieved; how a professional works is often a better predictor of success than a resume alone. That is why YESS focusses on the how-questions, based on our competency-oriented interview model. The answers to these questions provide insight into the competences and allow for an accurate assessment of how the candidate will perform in the role. They will also provide an indication of whether the candidate will excel within the organisation and whether he/she will be a good fit within the company.
Committed to results
Our consultants’ objective is for our candidates to exceed expectations in their new job. We therefore maintain regular contact with both the candidate and the client to find out whether the match is meeting expectations and how the candidate is faring. The personal and professional involvement of our consultants stems from a long-term sense of solidarity with the clients and candidates. This long-lasting bond is one of the reasons that approximately two-thirds of our mandates consist of so-called repeat-mandates for existing clients.
Various studies have shown that diversity is one of the key characteristics of a successful team. YESS firmly believes this to be true. Diversity is much more than just a gender issue, also taking into account differences in background, experience and ways of thinking. This results in a broad perspective.
For years, YESS has been closely involved in various diversity initiatives. YESS is one of the founding partners of Talent naar de Top‘s Executive Search Code and commits to diversity in the boardroom through Topvrouwen.nl. The diversity issue informs our search process. As a result, YESS has in recent years helped place an average of 38% of women in senior management positions.
YESS offers a wide range of services ranging from Walk the D&I Talk, talent development, executive search and consultancy services aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion within your organization.
