For a Dutch gaming company we’re searching for a Chief Marketing Officer. The company, which was founded in 2001, makes storytelling games focused on inspiring women. Our client develops, publishes and distributes their games on a global scale. They offer access to a library of premium casual games for online and mobile gaming. The gaming industry as a whole, and specifically the mobile games, is a very healthy and growing industry with lots of opportunities. With approximately 1 billion women playing mobile games the target group is enormous.
The company is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to help them in their next growing phase, where they are looking for exponential growth. Headquartered in Eindhoven, the CMO will lead three departments with a total of around 20 reports. Our client is looking for a CMO with a strong data driven background to better understand the players and their emotional connection to the games. Furthermore, the CMO will be tasked with building a strong ‘Voice of the Customer’ into the company’s culture, with understanding the key drivers of subscription in- and outflow, and with bringing ‘science’ to the art of building story games.
