For our client, a leading company in lifestyle brands, we are looking for a Manager Food & Non-Food for the European Continental market.

Key responsibilities

The Manager Food & Non- Food is responsible for profitable business growth in new Mass Market channels within the Business Unit Living in Continental Europe:

Other responsibilities of the Manager Food & Non-Food are:

  • Building account relationships and generate profitable business directly with customers by understanding opportunities and needs.
  • Working closely together with the other channel owners to identify leads.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency, scalability and high service levels by data analysis, strategic planning and forecasting accuracy.
  • Securing targeted distribution levels in combination with perfect in-store premium execution.
  • Driving sales and improving profit performance while securing brand-equity in line with the brand strategy for the defined brands.
  • Reports to the Regional Managing Director Continental Europe and is part of the Commercial leadership Team.

Background and experience

  • A minimum of 6 years premium brands selling experience with major international retail accounts.
  • Strong key account management experience, at least 6 years.
  • Proven track record in global or EMEA sales management on multiple DMU levels.
  • Master Degree in Business, Management or any related field.

The ideal candidate 

The candidate we are looking for is an independent and strategic thinker and a true “European”. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has/is:

  • A can-do attitude and is result driven
  • An excellent negotiator and out of the box thinker
  • Proven track record in customer management and relationship development
  • Fluent in English and preferably speaks German or French
